Your future duties and responsibilities
- Support developing the marketing plan in close coordination with the Global Industry Lead and local marketing leads
- Manage relevant market research to support the industry strategy
- Support the development of industry specific offerings and value propositions, ensuring that CGI is being positioned appropriately in the market
- Support go-to-market relationships and offerings with external partners, as required
- Manage/develop/design and support execution of global industry events
- Maintain industry specific information across CGI online channels (internal / external)
- Develop marketing asset to enable the business development and sales communities to articulate and present CGI's value propositions
- Manage and run regular global industry virtual meetings
- Manage regular industry newsletter
- Develop and execute social media plans
- Represent global industry marketing at Industry Growth Council and on request at Industry Cabinet

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- 3-5 years+ experience working in marketing and communications disciplines, preferably in an IT or professional services company

AND / OR
- Able to demonstrate thorough understanding of the insurance industries and their challenges
- A track record of achievement with a get-things-done attitude and ability to manage numerous complex and concurrent initiatives in a highly dynamic environment, often with short deadlines
- Demonstrate clear understanding of the strategic use of content marketing, digital marketing, and social media to generate awareness
- Proactive self-starter mentality
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a virtual team and manage/run global industry activities
- Good project management skills
- Confidence to build relationships and engage with senior stakeholders
