Automotive Parts and Service Advisor

The Automotive Parts and Service Advisor works in a fast-paced environment that involves constant interaction with customers in person and over the phone, with the use of a computerized system. This role is the link between the technician and the customer and also involves interaction with outside vendors using various ordering processes and systems and a responsibility for maintaining the automotive retail floor. Superior customer service and communication skills are essential to success in this position and in enhancing the customer experience.
- Provides excellent customer service and ensure an ongoing commitment to the needs of the customer and their vehicle.
- Responds to customer inquiries in a timely manner, over the phone and in person.
- Directs or guides customer to the location of requested items.
- Understands customer needs and provides them with a solution.
- Manages customer concerns and problems promptly.
- Deals with challenging situations in a professional manner.
- Ensures a smooth flow of communication with customers during repairs or maintenance work.
- Knowledge and understanding of automotive vehicles is required.
- Schedules service and repair appointments.
- Operates computerized work order systems.
- Completes other tasks, as required.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Full-time
**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
