**Job Description** Position Overview**:
Reporting to the Design Supervisor, the Design Coordinator will support RCL's brands in the ongoing design evolution of new and evolving projects. This person will also support programs in order to plan the interior spaces of stores with the use of CAD (Computer Assisted Drafting) to produce complete new sets of design drawings for various projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the design development of concept and components for store interiors and store fixtures programs as required from the brands;
- Design and render interior layout of new and start-up design projects;
- Source materials and details aligned with budget for any design projects (new or existing);
- Work with internal and external partners to execute needs and make necessary design recommendations according to divisional needs;
- Ensure that all new information from design projects is communicated accurately between visual departments, general contractors, suppliers, project managers, architects and engineers;
- Create blocks & detail sheets and drafting procedures for various projects and oversee modifications.

**Qualifications** Competencies & Requirements**:

- College Diploma in Interior Design, Architectural Technology or related field;
- 3-5 years in a similar position;
- Design experience in retail industry will be considered as a strong asset;
- Must be highly skilled in AutoCAD (latest version) and Sketch up (or other 3D specialty programs);
- Must be very creative;
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously;
- Be bilingual (French and English). This position requires communication with our stores across Canada, as well as with external parties involved in our stores' projects.
