**Duties**:
The English Department is seeking one (1) instructor to teach a minimum of three (3) sections of first-year courses for Fall 2024 and three (3) sections in Spring 2025. Available workload is a combination of first-year Literature and Culture, Business and Technical Communications, University Writing and Research, and a section as a tutor in the Nanaimo campus Writing Centre. Instruction is to be delivered primarily in person at the Nanaimo campus, but may also include teaching at the Cowichan Campus (Duncan) and/or online.

**Required Qualifications**:
PhD in English from an appropriately accredited institution and recent post-secondary teaching experience.
Demonstrated technical competency related to the position.
