**Position Title**
- Science Workshop Facilitator**Position Summary**
- The Donald School of Business, Science and Computing is seeking a term-certain Science Workshop Facilitator for the period of October 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

The Science Workshop Facilitator is responsible for coordinating the operation of Science Workshops, planning and delivering workshop activities based on the Alberta Education curriculum, and facilitating said workshops, and securing and maintaining funding from new and existing partners.

- Deliver science outreach workshops for community partners
- Assist with the planning of programming and instructing of workshops
- Promote workshops and seek out new workshop opportunities
- Research, develop and tests science workshop content and activities
- Coordinates workshop operations

**Required Qualifications**
- Completion of a 1-year college certificate, one year University or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license
- More than 6 months up to 1 year experience
- Experience planning and facilitating science workshops _for Grades K-12 audience_, computers, Microsoft Office, and experience working with youth in school, camp or club situations.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Two (2) years of post-secondary training in Bachelor of Science or combined Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Education.
- Experience planning and facilitating programming for Indigenous youth
- Experience planning and facilitating female-oriented programming
