Title: Women’s Participation Intern

Location: Golf Canada Head Office

Status: Contract

Ideal Start Date: May 2023 (one position)

End Date: August, 2023 (one position)

**Women’s Festival Week**
- Provide customer service to site coordinators, program stakeholders and partners in support of activities and events;
- Responsible for recruiting facilities to host golf clinics, tournaments and events for women and girls;
- Responsible for coordinating packaging, shipping and tracking of event kits to all sites;
- Responsible for gathering prize donations from partners and sponsors for activations and events;
- Assist in the organization and execution of registration, data collection and post-event surveys.

**Additional Responsibilities**
- Support the growth of Golf Canada’s new women’s participation strategy;
- Assist with organization and execution of events and activations at Golf Canada’s Professional Championships, including the Junior Skills Challenge National Event, RBC Canadian Open, Golf Canada’s Walk with a Pro event, and other initiatives advancing women and girls;
- Assist with program reporting and data collection
- Other duties as required.

Note: Golf Canada’s regular hours of work are 40 hours per week, namely Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day and 5 days a week including a one-hour lunch. However, the demands of your position may mean that your hours of work will vary, may be irregular and will be the hours required to meet the objectives of your employment.
