MacEwan University is seeking a Leadership Education Specialist for a full-time continuing opportunity with our Student Affairs department. Reporting to the Associate Dean, Student Engagement and Success, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating student leadership programs and initiatives that enhance students' leadership skills across the university. This role involves project management, student supervision, collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, and the management of student leadership programs for both the university and external organizations, to support and enhance MacEwan Student Life and Student Engagement activities.

Key responsibilities include:

- Planning, implementing, and evaluating of student leadership development projects and programs;
- Designing and managing surveys, and analyzing collected data to provide recommendations;
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies to increase student participation and engagement in leadership programs;
- Recruiting, training, and supporting student ambassadors and leaders;
- Overseeing resource distribution and logístical arrangements to ensure smooth program operations;
- Collaborating with academic departments, student organizations, and administrative units to integrate student leadership development and volunteer opportunities into the broader university experience;
- Designing and facilitating leadership workshops and seminars tailored for students;
- Establishing, maintaining, and growing partnerships with external organizations to enhance leadership education opportunities;
- Managing the Teaching and Learning grant and promotions;
- Managing the leadership program budget, purchases, and reconciliation of expenses;
- Developing promotional materials for all leadership program initiatives; and
- Developing and maintaining detailed project documentation and reports.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a post-secondary institution.
- Experience with training and managing staff, event coordination and customer service.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
