**Job Description**:
We are looking for an
** Investment & Retirement Specialist** to join our Investment & Retirement Solutions team within the Freedom Experience department. This is one of the fastest growing areas within Canada Life.

**What you will do**
- Proactively engage with clients who are considering withdrawing their assets, understanding their concerns, and providing personalized financial solutions to address their needs
- Develop a deep understanding of a client’s financial goals, risk tolerance and investment preferences to provide tailored advice and guidance
- Identify opportunities to enhance client experience and loyalty by offering value-added services, customized solutions, and personalized planning
- Strategize and implement targeted retention initiatives to prevent asset outflows and improve client satisfaction
- Conduct client win-back initiatives: develop win-back strategies and implement campaigns to increase client engagement.

**What you will bring**
- **
Life License (LLQP) is a requirement**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- ** Experience in Retirement**:

- Professional certifications (e.g CFA, CFP) would be advantageous
- Five years industry experience in financial services or related field, with a focus on sales or loyalty retention
- Very strong knowledge of pension, savings and investment products or services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence clients, presenting compelling arguments and solutions to retain their assets
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial investment statements, identify patterns and make data-driven recommendations
- Sound working knowledge of MS Office products and Salesforce is beneficial
- Bilingual (English/French) is considered an asset
