**About the Position**
- We are searching for 1 Temporary Administration Clerk to join our D.A. Townley team.
- This position is unionized and part of the CUPE 1816 Bargaining Unit. This position is paid at hourly rates and receives wage increases in accordance with the Collective Agreement. The starting wage for this position is: $24.86 per hour.

**Job Summary**

Under the general supervision of the _Team Leader, Health Benefits Administration_, the _Administration Clerk_ performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties associated with processing incoming and outgoing correspondence to internal stakeholders; prepares cheques and other documents for external mailing and/or courier; on a regular relief basis, performs all duties of the _Client Experience Representative;_ updates information in systems; maintains a variety of physical and electronic files and records; and, prepares month-end reports for distribution.

**Job Duties**

**_Customer and Administration Support_**

1. Receives, reviews, sorts, and distributes incoming correspondence to internal stakeholders.

2. Prepares cheques and other documents for external mailing and/or courier.

3. Prepares, prints, and distributes cheques internally in accordance with standard procedures.

**_Reception_**

4. On a regular relief basis, performs all duties of the _Receptionist, DAT_ including:

- receiving, screening, and redirecting incoming phone calls via a multi-line telephone network system.
- monitoring, pre-screening, and distributing incoming correspondence, and replying with templated responses, as necessary.
- updates member information (e.g., address) in system, as requested.

5. Upload drug card requests to system. Sorts, prepares, and distributes cards to internal stakeholders.

**_General Team and Department Support_**

6. Maintains a variety of physical and electronic files and records.

7. Prepares month-end reports for distribution.

8. Enters/uploads and balances remittance hours in system.

9. Orders and maintains an inventory of stationery and supplies including storage and distribution of such supplies.

10. Participates in a variety of special projects such as mass mailouts, archiving materials for offsite storage, etc.

11. On a one-to-one basis, supports assigned team members by demonstrating the execution of specific tasks and duties, and sharing knowledge and experience on request.

12. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of department policies and procedures, office administration software and associated electronic tools through continuous learning initiatives.

13. Performs other assigned duties related to the provision of administrative and clerical support which do not affect the rating of the job.

**Qualifications**
- High school graduation, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated proficiency with basic Excel and Word.
- 6 months of previous related experience in a general office environment.
- Demonstrated attention to detail
