**Overview**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining the employee schedules to ensure required coverage for the people supported by Transitions. Responsibility includes ensuring sufficient resources and consistent processes and systems are in place. Strong attention to detail, communication and good organization are mandatory for this position.

**Responsibilities**
- Creating, maintaining and adjusting employee schedules based on staffing requirements
- Coordinating with different departments to gather necessary information
- Identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts and issues
- Monitoring employee schedules and making adjustments
- Communicating scheduling changes to relevant parties and ensuring timesheets reflect accurate information
- Provide updates and reminders to staff
- Create documents of scheduling processes and update records
- Ensuring employees are following the assigned schedule and communication with respective Supervisors and/or Team Leads for payroll purposes
- Communication with employees, Supervisors and Team Leads with regard to staffing availability
- Resolve scheduling conflicts and manage special requests, ensuring proper approvals
- Ensuring ample staff coverage during peak vacation times, i.e. summer, Christmas
- Maintaining database of staff orientations
- Maintaining and approving staff mileage and expense claims
- Other duties as required

**Skills**
- Minimum one year experience in a scheduling administrative position
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- Business Administration certificate, diploma and/or degree preferable
- Scheduling software experience
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Suite products
- Written and oral communication, active listening
- Organization and logistics
- Attention to detail
- Problem solving and multitasking
- Data entry skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.72-$35.32 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
