**Is this role right for you? In this role you, will**:

- Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Support in the reporting, documentation and closure of all audit and regulatory requirements.
- Understand the applicable regulatory requirements to ensure testing is adequately designed to identify potential control gaps and non-compliance with regulatory requirements, best practices, and internal policies and procedures.
- Responsible for governing, coordinating, and improving the internal and external policies, procedures, and standards of the procurement function.
- Execute work across procurement teams to deliver sound procurement practices that align to GPS’s strategic vision and audit requirements.
- Monitor and analyzes operational data to identify trends, issues and opportunities, and provides feedback to their managers in search of analytical-based recommendations/solutions.
- Support to establish a ONE GPS culture, through various channels of communications and standardization of process.
- Prepare and present on GPS strategies/process using synthesis, data visualization, and storytelling.
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk,
- Champion a high performance environment

**Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have**:

- Post Secondary Education
- 3 + years’ previous experience in compliance, audit, governance, financial services, and/or procurement related field
- Experience in Audit/regulatory compliance and resolution processes
- Experience in project management methodology and techniques
- Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights
- Experience in governance and testing procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with senior management
- Proven ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to constantly changing business environment, work independently, drive projects to completion, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Knowledgeable in financial services and regulations (e.g., OSFI, OCC, CFPB, UDAAP) and how they are applied to Third Party relationships is preferred
