**Position Summary**
The Accounting Administrator is responsible for the accounting and payroll functions of the organization including the preparation and verification of accounting and payroll records such as balance sheets, income statements, general ledgers and annual T4 slips.

The Payroll Administrator prepares or ensures the preparation of, and verifies the accuracy of payroll reports and records, such as payroll registers, payroll analyses, and T4 forms and summaries. Calculates and distributes, or ensures the calculation and distribution of
Receiver General remittances, Worksafe BC reports and remittances and RRSP reports and remittances all under the direction of the Accounting Administrators and Finance Director.
The Payroll Administrator will assist other Accounting Team members with varied duties and tasks in a learning environment. This position will sometimes lead staff, students and volunteers

**Payroll Administrator Qualifications**
- Education, Training and Experience_
- Grade 12
- Completion of the Payroll Compliance Practitioner from the Canadian Payroll

Association
- Recent related experience of two years
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work.
- Satisfactory RCMP Criminal Records Search
- Covid 19 Dual Vaccination Status is required
- Skills and Abilities_

- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
- Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others
- Ability to operate related equipment
