***What You'll Do**

The** Marketing Coordinator** will play a key role in supporting marketing activities across Metrie. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, this individual will work in close collaboration with the broader Marketing team to address marketing needs, execute on commitments and projects while also bringing their analytical capabilities to help drive better data-based decision making.

Key Relationships: The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Marketing & Communications Manager.

Location: Halton Hills, Ontario

At a high level you will:

- Develop and execute customer communications through a wide variety of platforms including marketing materials, merchandising, events, and tradeshows.
- Support the execution of marketing campaigns, driving cross functional collaboration with stakeholders to ensure alignment and approvals as required.
- Support new product launches and related initiatives, with messaging, content, and marketing materials.
- Work closely with the Digital Marketing team to support messaging and content needs across the website, social channels, and digital advertising.
- Support the execution of PR, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities to drive overall brand image and awareness.
- Work closely with the channel managers and sales team to develop insight into direct and downstream customer needs and integrate learnings into marketing strategy and execution.
- Champion the brand and ensure alignment with guidelines across all marketing communications.
- Drive continuous improvement by focusing on measurement and data to drive informed decision making.
- Manage relationships, budgets and timelines with external suppliers and source and set up new suppliers as needed.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high attention to detail, budget and deadlines.

**Who You Are**

We would love to hear from you if you have:

- Bachelor of Commerce/Business Degree with a Major in Marketing preferred
- 1-2 years of marketing experience
- Demonstrated experience in a B2B environment (preferably in the home/hardware/building products space but not required)
- A passionate team player with experience in sales and/or marketing
- Understanding of in-store merchandising and collateral mechanics
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple or competing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and comfortable collaborating with team members at all levels of the business.
- Strong understanding of stakeholder and customer management
- Leads with a customer frame of mind; solutions-oriented mindset to work through challenges and accomplish our objectives
- Experience working with outside suppliers
- Strong project management skills
- Bilingual in English and French an asset
