Solar panel installers are responsible for installing solar panels and related equipment on residential or commercial properties. As a solar panel installer, your job duties may include:

- Reviewing project plans and specifications to determine installation requirements
- Conducting site surveys and assessments to identify potential installation issues
- Assembling and installing solar panels, racking systems, and other related equipment
- Running and connecting wiring and conduit from solar panels to electrical systems
- Testing and verifying proper operation of installed systems
- Maintaining and repairing installed systems, as needed
- Collaborating with other team members, such as engineers, electricians, and project managers, to ensure successful project completion
- Following safety procedures and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries

**Requirements**:

- Experience in solar panel installation or a related field, such as electrical or roofing
- Knowledge of electrical and construction codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail and quality control
- Understanding of safety procedures and best practices in solar panel installation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

- Markham, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
