**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting patients in selecting and fitting eyewear, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and care. You will work closely with both customers and healthcare professionals to provide quality optical solutions that meet individual needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear based on their prescriptions and lifestyle needs.
- Fit and adjust eyeglasses and contact lenses to ensure comfort and proper vision correction.
- Educate patients on the proper care and maintenance of their eyewear.
- Maintain accurate records of patient prescriptions, fittings, and sales transactions.
- Collaborate with optometrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage inventory levels of optical products, including lenses, frames, and contact lenses.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall patient experience.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of optical principles and practices.
- Experience in retail sales, particularly in an optical or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with laboratory processes related to eyewear production is a plus.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to eye care.
- Previous experience in retail management is beneficial for overseeing store operations.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service and sales techniques.

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
