The District Marketing Manager reports to the Regional Marketing Manager and leads the implementation of marketing programs at multiple accounts within a defined district. The District Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting critical business initiatives, including the activation of corporate marketing and consumer insights programs, creation, and activation of account marketing plans, growing base business, new sales and retention, client value creation, and enhancing Aramark’s brand health.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conducts weekly/bi-weekly visits to district accounts to identify opportunities and drive business improvements
- Provide recommendations around products, price, merchandising and promotions
- Tracks implementation and KPI’s to measure success of retail counts, higher education meal plan analytics, website, and social media channel engagements
- Leads the execution of marketing programs, promotions, consumer engagement activities, core proprietary brand marketing assets, merchandising, marketing, growth plans, campaigns, social media
- Creates and implements traditional, digital, and social media marketing content and creative assets as required
- Drives the execution of all Aramark primary insights programs; interprets and shares results; develops action plans to improve district consumer satisfaction results
- Defines consumer segments and builds competitive analysis annually at each account in portfolio
- Trains operations teams to ensure strategic merchandising tactics, planograms and pricing updates are followed
- Creates and distributes district and/or key account newsletters
- Supports and attends District Client Business Reviews
- Assists in implementation of strategic plans for account retention
- Actively participates in RFP presentation and client retention presentations as required
- Creates customized marketing materials package for business development proposals as required
- Supports on-site opening plan for new account mobilizations within the district

**Qualifications**:

- Must possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License and own reliable vehicle - territory travel is 60%-80%
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Marketing or an equivalent discipline - B. Comm, etc.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and presentation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Business analysis - ability to track, analyze and present results from marketing program implementation
- Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking abilities for project management of multiple projects
- Ability to deal with ambiguity - able to get in, assess the situation, identify key players, identify action plan, deliver
- Results oriented - analytical skills and ability to think strategically about the business is essential
