Inventory/supply Chain Analyst

The Inventory and Supply Chain Analyst will support the activities of GATE, an international aircraft maintenance services provider and subsidiary of Top Aces. The person will be responsible for carrying out a variety of tasks including Inventory Analysis, Inventory Sourcing, Part Kitting and will work closely with the Supply Chain, Engineering, and other team members.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
Inventory Analysis and Management
- Assess historical usage rates and predict future inventory requirements.
- Assess part obsolescence and identify future needs.
- Analyze and plan part level consumption control along with inputs from Fleet Management and Maintenance.
- Make recommendations for lifetime or bulk-buys for unique parts.
- Work with finance to ensure transactions are accounted for properly and improve processes accordingly.
- Support ERP implementation and transition efforts.
- Participate in development of inventory budgets and forecasts.
Aircraft Part Kitting
- Coordinate activities related to customer aircraft part kit deliveries.
- Prepare and package kits.
- Collect required documentation such as Certificates of Conformance, Safety Data Sheets.
- Perform quality checks of kits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Logistics and Export Compliance
- Perform regular reporting to support export compliance.
- Work with Freight Forwarders to coordinate shipping activities of aircraft parts and components.
- Adhere to Dangerous Goods packaging requirements.
Administration
- Ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects as required.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies and procedures.
**Secondary Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Align/coordinate with the other Supply Chain Managers and teams.
**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements**:
- Engineering or Business Degree preferable.
- 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Finance, technical exposure an asset.
- Inventory Management, Materials or Manufacturing Background.
- Knowledge of the different systems and operations of an Aviation company with an AMO and AOC.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external partners.
- Strong judgment, organizational, decision making, project management and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Service, Excellence, Integrity and Teamwork.
- Demonstrates strong and visible support of our values.

**Security Clearance Requirements/ CGP / ITAR**:
Position requires Level II Clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program
