**DATA STRATEGIST**
As a Data Strategist in the Corporate Functions Analytics team, you will help integrate analytics capabilities into Scotiabank’s digital products by developing and implementing data strategies that will help improve the customer experience.
**What will you do in this role?**
- Work cross-functionally to define data strategy and analytics roadmap for digital initiatives, collaborating with digital banking, other analytics teams, and the data office.
- Measure performance during release of new digital solutions. Understand performance trends, identify opportunities for growth, and provide actionable insights.
- Deep dive into data to identify opportunities, influence product development, and/or overall business strategies.
- Communicate and coordinate with teams to implement data-driven strategies while measuring progress.
- Create and deliver analytics solutions and data products to optimize revenue growth and improve customer experience.
- Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and operational teams to implement quality controls and automate data feeds and report generation.

**Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?**
- Ability to simplify and describe complex analytical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and to tell a story with data.
- Experience using visualization tools like Power BI and ability to create dashboards with meaningful metrics.
- Ability to clean, transform and visualize large data sets working with various data formats.
- Proficient in one or more statistical programming languages (eg. Python, SQL, R); comfortable with creating large queries.
- Experience with digital analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics is a nice-to-have.
- Knowledge about common Machine Learning approaches (eg. feature engineering, classification, regression, clustering, NLP, time series forecasting) is a nice-to-have.
