**THE POSITION**:

- Develop and implement practices that provide for an above average customer satisfaction for service department customers. Implement means of measuring customer satisfaction and make changes as necessary to provide necessary levels of customer service.
- Creates annual Service Department goals and budget, in alignment with the organization’s financial and operational objectives.
- Develops and executes Service Department marketing plan and monitors monthly to ensure sustained revenue growth and achievement of departmental goals.
- Identifies and develops new customer and business opportunities to achieve department growth.
- Assures timely completion and submission of all service warranty and Product Improvement Program claims within the required time frame to receive maximum credit.
- Analyze the needs of the department and develop a long-term continuous plan to ensure that we have the necessary personnel to meet the needs of the department. Recruits, hires, develop and retain key talent to meet these needs.
- Develop and implement an effective training program for all department staff members that meet the goals of the organization.
- Effectively manage and develop the service team through effective performance management processes done on an annual basis.
- Ensure that proper safety and securing processes are in place to create a proper work environment. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and housekeeping that exhibits a high degree of professionalism.
- Maintains all department tools, equipment, and vehicles in good working order.

**SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Strong coaching and employee development skills.
- Ability to write and speak effectively one-on-one and within a group.
- Excellent customer service and negotiation/conflict resolution skills.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing staff in a customer service environment.
- A strong understanding of financial principles relative to retail service operations.
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports.
- You are familiar with our suppliers and competitive products.
- Strong organizational skills.
