We are looking to add a Business Administrator to join our Halifax office. We need someone who is highly motivated, has a fine eye for detail, can juggle multiple tasks and take initiative to proactively tackle projects. The Business Administrator will manage the administrative needs and support our office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the preparation and finalization (formatting and proofing) of correspondence, reports and other communications in word, PowerPoint or other media as required internally and externally using Eckler brand guidelines and standards
- Assist when required with data entry and review, record reconciliations
- Assist with the preparation of invoices as required
- Assist with planning and execution of events and special projects as required
- Greet incoming guests and answer telephone calls when required
- Scanning and filing incoming mail; mailing/courier of outgoing documents
- Scanning documents for distribution and electronic storing
- Assist with preparation of staff expense claims
- Maintain contact information for the office’s client and prospect list, including, but not limited to ensuring consent related to the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation
- Coordinate and arrange on
- and off-site client and team meetings and events including logistics
- Provide support when required to manage office supplies and equipment
- Provide support on an ongoing and as needed basis to all office staff during deadlines and busy periods to keep the office running efficiently
- Work closely with, and provide support to, other members of the administrative team
- Work on special projects as needed

**What we’re looking for**:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe products
- Confident working independently and taking pride and ownership in tasks
- Strong project management skills
- Outstanding interpersonal skills
- Values teamwork, client service and quality in detailed work
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Ability to interpret and make decisions in accordance with prescribed procedures and practices
- Discretion and tact when dealing with confidential information

**Nice to have**:

- Prior working experience at a professional services firm
- Office Administration diploma or other relevant education
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Familiarity with setting up and hosting Zoom meetings

**Salary**: $14.50-$20.00 per hour
