**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Provides excellent customer service in communicating with faculty, students, staff, and the general public
- Provides administrative support to the Associate Dean
- Manages the Associate Dean’s schedule and electronically schedules meetings and events
- Organizes and maintains records/files including confidential files related to staff and students
- Maintains record keeping and monitoring of purchase requisitions
- Generates budget reports for the Associate Dean
- Assembles materials as required for the Associate Dean, including curriculum committees, co-ordinator meetings, open house, and special events
- Enters program loadings for full and part time faculty into Niagara College systems
- Coordinates the collection of time sheets for all part time staff and records for submission to payroll
- Completes business tasks processing data using excel to create graphs, tables and calculate data in a spreadsheet

**Qualifications**:

- Two (2) year Diploma in Office Administration, Business Administration, or similar field of study
- Three (3) years of practical office experience in office administration in an educational, government of large business environment
- Demonstrated communication, organizational, problem solving and prioritizing skills
- Proven abilities in working independently, exercising initiative and good judgement, sensitivity, and confidentiality
- Strong customer service and public relation skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel)
