SMS Equipment is seeking a **HR Coordinator** to join our team This role is an excellent opportunity for a developing HR professional to build valuable hands-on experience within a supportive team environment. This position is in **Acheson, AB**.

This role offers a **hybrid** work environment.

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Facilitate the recruitment and selection processes; serving as a key contact for external recruitment resources, make recommendations for opportunities and areas of improvement.
- Support the preparation of sensitive documents related to compensation and employment conditions.
- Process new hire documentation, deliver new hire orientations, and support new employee onboarding.
- Assist HR Business Partners with investigations, employee relations, and communications as required.
- Work in collaboration with the HRIS team to provide People Reporting
- Support ad hoc reporting requirements, including executing on external market research and data gathering.
- Other projects which support the HR Services team as assigned.

**Qualifications**

This position requires a minimum of 2 years experience in Human Resources, with a post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field. Other requirements include:

- A demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information.
- Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with readily available assistance from the HR team.
- Strong attention to detail and proficient in following process
- Ability to analyze, research, and provide recommendations.
