Establish RSM Canada as the premier advisor for globally active middle market companies and to drive unparalleled growth and client experience for both foreign-owned companies operating in Canada and Canadian-owned companies active outside of Canadian borders.
**Role and responsibilities**:
- Proactive and intentional relationship building with international member firms to aid global account teams and pursuits, support, and own end to end process.
- Understand trends and issues impacting globally active businesses. Align to firm bundled solution sets.
- Act as a central connector, bringing in technical expertise and business development resources to support opportunities. Work collaboratively with all lines of business to drive client engagement and opportunity.
- Foster the development of Centers of Influence (COI), including relationships with economic development agencies, banks, law firms, and other relevant entities. Initiate and coordinate networking events with those focused on serving globally active businesses.
- Provide coaching and results-oriented strategies to enhance global client experience, development and service delivery.
- Integrate with growth teams to capitalize on industry mega trends and initiatives, creating opportunities with global clients. Support global connectivity and global account pursuit teams.
- Participate in Global conferences.
- Active participation in established global growth teams with a focus on driving action with key target and clients. Leverage firms global tools.
- Connectivity with the Firm’s Global Support Office, Country Desks and Expat colleagues.
- Develop and implement global business strategies to ensure company growth and market expansion.
- Operate and respond with a sense of urgency.
- Leverage and analyze market data to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in global business development and account management functions within professional services.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to connect and collaborate across various levels of an organization.
- Strong business development background embodying a growth mindset.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to business growth and client service.
- Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Excellent collaboration and project management skills.
Compensation Range: $125,500 - $188,500
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
