Ecommerce Manager

**Job Overview**:
**This in-office eCommerce sales position is responsible for managing the growth of our Amazon program in both our Retail and Foodservice divisions building our Marketplace and online sales programs**. This role works cross functionally with our Operations teams to champion growth, best practices, and operational efficiency for Amazon and other eCommerce sales programs.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
**Program Management**
- Full accountability for Amazon, marketplace & Foodservice customer e-commerce site
- Drive revenue and growth targets
- Manage advertising to drive growth with focus on optimizing profitability
**Analytics**
- Analyze SKU data to identify product and category trends with recommendations to improve organic sales and margin
- Oversee third party (3P) seller behavior and address pricing violations to ensure buy box ownership
- Build weekly reporting of key business metrics to monitor all activities and identify challenges and opportunities
**Operations Efficiency**
- Work closely with Operations (Supply Chain, Warehouse, Customer Service, Finance, IT) to:
- improve forecasting and inventory on hand
- create operational efficiency for the Amazon and Marketplace Programs
- monitor program fees and work with internal teams to reduce costs
**Content Management**
- Oversee product and brand pages to ensure images and product information adhere to best practices to improve product conversion rates (support provided by Marketing for digital assets through inhouse Graphic Designers and Photographer)
- Work with Marketing to update Amazon creative and contents with maximum use of digital product assets
- Research and resolve issues related to inventory shipments, product listings and program policies.
**Skills & Qualifications**
**Specific**
- 3-4 years working directly in the Amazon Retail and BISS platforms and marketplace programs
- Experience managing Amazon pricing, promotion and vendor programs
- Knowledge and experience in both Vendor and Seller Central
- Experience within retail and foodservice markets an asset
- Experience and understanding of notable Foodservice e-commerce platforms.
**General**
- Experience with retail Marketplace programs with ability to onboard & launch new vendor programs
- Knowledge and ability to drive the full program with a focus on yearly growth
- Excellent verbal/written communication and project management skills and an ability to work with cross-functional teams and facilitate solutions (what’s working, what’s not working)
- A self-starter with a strong bias for action, if it’s broken fix it type approach which drives results
- Excited to work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
- Curious and constantly learning about best practices pertaining to Amazon and Marketplace programs
- Analytical to synthesize data with strong attention to detail and market trends
