**About Our Opportunity**
As the Manager of Operational & Service Excellence (O&SE), you will join a highly motivated team in leading and growing the vibrant corporate deployment. You will lead and support business process improvement (BPI) initiatives across Nova Scotia government departments, crowns, and agencies. You will implement strategic BPI projects, facilitate Business Operational Analyses, develop and facilitate customized training curriculums, and coach belts. This position offers an exceptionally satisfying opportunity for a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt or a highly experienced LSS Black Belt looking for a challenge in a beautiful province with a high quality of life. **Primary Accountabilities**
- Join the leadership in O&SE deployment strategy and promote innovative, transformative approaches to strengthen and expand the deployment.
- Partner with business areas to identify pain points, convert them into BPI projects, implement the projects using appropriate methodologies, and operationalize BPI principles such as Lean Six Sigma.
- Develop, facilitate, and customize training programs for key stakeholders, such as employees, business process improvement leaders, managers, directors, and executive sponsors.
- Coach and guide stakeholders in implementing improvement projects, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Responsible for the realization and reporting of O&SE deployment outcomes, including performance benefits at both business and operational levels, and managing resources such as staff, finances, and programs.

**Key Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in business or technical areas (a postgraduate degree is an asset.)
- Over 5 years of experience in leading corporate deployments and complex cross-business process improvement initiatives, utilizing methodologies such as DMAIC, Kaizen, Agile, and others, with significant and verifiable business benefits.
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification from a reputable organization, or LSS Black Belt with over 5 years of relevant experience post-certification; other professional designations are considered assets.
- Proven success in effective training facilitation and experience in developing customized curriculums, which is an asset.
- Strong history of leading organizational culture change and people management, including the development, coaching, and mentoring of high-performing professionals.
