**Role Summary**

We’re going through an exciting growth stage and are expanding our Business and Workforce Development team dedicated to enterprise sales. DHGE is looking for an Account Specialist to support client engagement.

Reporting to Director, Business and Workforce Development the Account Specialist is a full-time position. Under limited supervision, this role is responsible for account management, business operations and special projects within the Enterprise department.

**Key responsibilities**
- Contribute to client engagement by strengthening relationships through account management and maintenance - ensuring account plan, partnership launches, project timelines and growth is achieved
- Employs research and data-gathering skills to prepare proposals, presentations, and RFPs
- Monitor market trends and adjust client engagement strategies accordingly
- Ability to gain detailed understanding of markets, segments, and segment organizations with a focus on identifying those entities which align with DHGE’s strategic objectives
- Maintain timely, accurate and thorough documentation of all contacts, communications, agreements and reconciliation through Salesforce
- Confidently represent DHGE in communications, presentations, and at conferences on an as needed basis
- Maintains quality service by monitoring standards and advising supervisor of potential problem
- Ensure consistent utilization of marketing and partnership communication to promote DHGE as a strategic partner
- Demonstrate thoughtful and appropriate time management in extending the vision, strategies and tactics required for sustained partner engagement
- Prepare timely account reports for management review

**Requirements**:

- Healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical sales experience preferred
- Both a self-starter and a team-player, able to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in G-suite, Salesforce, Microsoft Suite
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple requests, assess priorities, and achieve solutions under deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal, organizational and project management skills
- Strong business acumen; the ability to recognize marketing and business development opportunities and to pursue them strategically with support
- Experience with adult learning and development models strongly preferred
- Highly organized with strong planning and time management skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively
- Strong research skills and ability to identify client needs
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively across departments, functions, cultures and time zones
- Both a self-starter and a team-player, able to perform in a fast-paced environment

**Education**
- Working towards the completion of post-secondary or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field
