Your Opportunity

One Permanent Full Time Position.

Capital Power’s diverse team provides excellent opportunities for employees to grow their careers.

You will join Capital Power as a Financial Analyst, CFA Student and a member of the Capital Power Treasury team. This development program provides on-the-job training, in-house training/mentorship, and other educational support that will prepare you for challenging assignments within the organization.

During the program you will rotate through different areas within the Treasury team including time in Corporate Finance and Valuations, spending about a year in each position, as well as time supporting the Credit and Treasury Operations teams, along with Investor Relations. This program will provide you with a broad range of experiences where you will be developing a wide range of skills. This could include financial analysis, financial modelling and analysis, asset valuation, supporting financing activities including debt or equity raises, credit analysis and cash management. The skill set obtained during this opportunity will ensure you meet the practical experience needed to obtain a _Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)_ designation.

What you will bring to the role:
Education:
- Undergraduate degree in Finance is preferred.- Strong interpersonal and communication capabilities.- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.- Proven leadership skills.

Working Conditions:
- Hybrid Office/Work from home position.- Hours of Work: 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Additional Details:
Clearance of Credit check is required for this position.
