**AICLF Loan Case Manager**

ISANS is seeking a full-time **AICLF Loan Case Manager** to support ITIs through the Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund Project. The Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund Program provides loans to internationally trained individuals (ITIs) in Atlantic Canada. These loans assist skilled ITIs in obtaining the training and/or certification assessment required to qualify for employment in their chosen field. Reporting to the Manager, Employment & Bridging, this position is responsible to:

- Work with employment specialists at ISANS and across the region to identify ITIs eligible for the loan program
- Respond to the initial referrals for the loan program and schedule counselling and case management sessions meetings to identify their need for the loan project
- Work with ITIs on reviewing their training or certification plan as the first step to develop an AICLF Loan Action Plan (LAP) that is focused on their training and licensure goals
- Confirm the training programs eligibility for funding
- Confirm ITI’ eligibility to access the loan fund
- Refer ITIs to wraparound employment and bridging programs and services at ISANS for clients living in NS and to other SPO partners across the Atlantic region
- Document clients’ data in ISANS’ secured database
- Ensure required project data and reports are completed and submitted on time
- Provide information as required for internal/external reports, proposals, grants etc.
- Attend Staff Meetings, Team meetings, Training, and ISANS events
- Review and adhering to ISANS workplace health and safety policies; safety is everyone’s responsibility; and
- Perform other duties as required**Education**:

- Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience will be accepted
- Adult Education/training certificate/diploma an asset
- Experience in Foreign Credential Recognition (FCR), employment and career coaching

**Experience**:

- 2 years experience developing, implementing and evaluating programs or projects
- Strong career counselling skills and knowledge of alternative careers in different fields
- Delivering client service in person and online, preferably to a diverse client group
- Facilitating group sessions & delivering presentations, as needed
- Strong understanding of international credentials and ability to identify training opportunities
- Working in a cross-cultural environment

**Skills**:

- Additional languages an asset

**Terms of Employment**:

- Fixed term contract to March 31st, 2024, renewable pending funding confirmation
- Full-time 35 hours per week
- During the COVID-19 pandemic, your work location may be at ISANS’ office or at home. Work location will be determined by operational requirements, public health recommendations, and government requirements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract

**Salary**: $44,754.07-$47,646.83 per year
