**Job title: Baker**

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team and contribute to the creation of exceptional baked goods. The Baker will be responsible for preparing a wide range of baked products, including bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum high school diploma
- Prior experience with food and beverage or related industries, including experience in baking or cooking highly desirable.
- Must be able to work independently or in a team environment, follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, effectively, and consistently.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Creativity and attention to detail for creating visually appealing baked goods.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, adhering to established recipes and techniques.
- Measure and mix ingredients to create doughs, batters, fillings, and icings, ensuring consistent quality.
- Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and dough sheeters, and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Monitor baking process to ensure products are baked to perfection, with the ideal texture, color, and taste.
- Decorate and finish baked goods using artistic skills, icing, glazing, and other techniques to enhance visual appeal.
- Collaborate with the pastry chef and other team members to develop new recipes and innovative baked goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following proper sanitation and food safety guidelines.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies, placing orders when needed to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and new ingredients to continually improve skills and offerings.

Pay: From $17.40 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
