Sales Representative

**Role Purpose**
GLB is seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and hardworking craft beer lover to join our growing team in a sales and delivery capacity working with the Senior Sales Manager to help develop the convenience channel. The primary focus of this position, but not exclusively, will be visiting customers, merchandising and rotating products, delivering products and selling in additional SKUs.

A fiercely independent owned and operated brewery, Great Lakes celebrated 37 years in the craft beer business in 2024, making us one of the oldest craft breweries in Ontario. **Key Accountabilities and Activities**
- Develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to increase sales and market presence
- Educate customers on current product list and new options
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of products to customers
- Ensure that products are properly stocked, displayed, and rotated on store shelves
- Manage the loading and unloading of products, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Assist in setting up promotional displays and marketing materials as needed
- Plan and manage the daily route efficiently to maximize time and minimize travel expenses
- Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and customer interactions
- Ensure the delivery vehicle is well-maintained, clean, and safe for operation
**Necessary Knowledge and Experience**
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
- Previous sales experience with a consumer-packaged goods or retail organization preferred
- Exhibits flexibility, creativity and resourcefulness with sound business acumen to create a positive, collaborative culture within the team, the brewery and our markets
- Smart Serve Certified
**Education and Certification Requirement/s**
- Completion of post-secondary education.
- Glass ‘G’ Drivers License and clean drivers abstract
- Prud’homme Beer Certification an asset.
