With a rich legacy spanning 45 years, W.A. Stephenson Mechanical Ltd. (WASM) stands as a distinguished Water Wastewater Mechanical Contractor in Ontario, Canada. Under the guidance of an experienced Project Manager, the Project Coordinator will undertake the following duties:

- Support the Project Manager in evaluating and establishing project parameters.
- Aid in ensuring prompt receipt and delivery of all documentation to the client.
- Assist in the management of tender awards to subcontractors and suppliers, including tender evaluation when necessary.
- Oversee the coordination and meticulous management of project contracts, documentation, and reporting.
- Act as the primary liaison for suppliers, subcontractors, and the purchasing department, coordinating external goods and services.
- Develop and maintain the Project Submittal process, including compliance logs aligned with project specifications.
- Facilitate the Request for Information (RFI) process, overseeing review, submission, and closure of RFIs.
- Attend regular Project Meetings, recording minutes, logs, and schedule updates provided by the project team.
- Collaborate with the PM on Proposed Change Order processes, managing change documents, subcontractor pricing, and material takeoffs for designated work scopes.
- Oversee the Project Closeout process, aiding in As-built drawing preparation, issuance of O&M manuals and warranties, scheduling training, and managing owner attic stock materials.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all aforementioned tasks.
- Completion of a formal education program in Construction Management or a related field, or equivalent degree/diploma, or relevant experience in project management, project coordination, or contract administration.
- Proficiency in interpreting construction contract drawings and specifications.
- Strong time management abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to effectively handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Previous experience in the Water and Wastewater industry is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Platform.
- Understanding of project scheduling in P6 and MS Project
- Preference for experience with project management software such as Jonas Premier.
