Reporting to the Manager of Water & Wastewater Services, the Administrative Assistant Water-Wastewater Services will help the Town achieve higher performance by supporting the Manager and the Water and Wastewater operations groups.
The Administrative Assistant Water-Wastewater Services will provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Water and Wastewater Services Division including research and coordination support and assistance to the Director of Operations as required. What you will need:
Requires 2-year post-secondary in a related field
Minimum 5 years of administrative experience in a municipal environment, preference will be given for experience in engineering or related environment
Requires at least one to two years’ experience in dealing with the public
Word processing, spreadsheet and database computer skills required
Must have good organizational skills to maintain records and ensure reports are completed in a timely manner
Ability to deal with sensitive or confidential matters with tact, discretion, and diplomacy

This is a full-time opportunity at the Town. The annual salary range for this role is $ 58,185.40-$68,068.00 (2023 Rate). The Town also offers the following to our employees:
