***Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Director of PR & Brand Engagement, the **Social Media Specialist** will work alongside our external agency partners to effectively engage with targeted virtual community members (new + potential) and social network users.

The objective of this role is to achieve exceptional customer engagement, educate our audience in an entertaining way, position ourselves as the leader in the natural wellness space, foster intimacy, drive website traffic, and increase revenue through strategic utilization of the social media marketing roadmap.

An expertise in social media marketing will be essential in achieving our goals and establishing strong brand connections.

All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje’s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Budget & Sales**:

- Managing the organic social media budget, ensuring all costs are being added and tracked.
- Product Requests, working alongside cross-functional partners to facilitate the product requisitions from external partners.
- **Analytics & Reporting**:

- The Social Media Specialist will work closely with the Director of PR & Brand Engagement as well as the external social media agency partners to create and maintain a clear social strategy, based on brand metrics and KPIs.
- They should have the capacity to interpret data correctly to inform campaigns and measure results. They will be responsible for working closely with the external agency partners to collate data points from all sources—including web traffic referred from social sites— and produce regular reports detailing successes and areas for improvement.
- They will have knowledge of frequently used analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and how to analyze data from those sources. This will include the creation, monitoring & performance reporting of UTM links via GA4.
- Working alongside our external social media agenciesto develop & share a weekly social media report highlighting successes & opportunities, key top performing content, and relevant information.
- Social listening and tracking conversations related to the brand on social media sites to gain insights into customer attitudes and preferences.
- Knowledge of the most popular social media management tools i.e., Dash Hudson and how to use them to optimize posts.
- Channel Optimization: Work alongside our external social media agency partners to ensure posts are optimized for maximum reach; regularly testing new strategies for community engagement.
- **Customer Service & Community Engagement**:

- Having prior experience handling customer inquiries and complaints on social media is a must. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for responding to comments from followers or customers on all owned channels to build relationships and foster engagement.
- In addition to inbound community management, the Social Media Specialist will be responsible for conducting outbound community management. Including but not limited to engaging with notable creators on all platforms, engaging with relevant partners on all platforms, engaging with community members on their own pages, engaging in tagged content, re-sharing story content etc.,
- **Channel Management, Social Strategy & Content Calendar Building**
- Managing Saje’s presence in partnership with our external agency partners, on various social networks, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, Threads and LinkedIn.
- Assist our external agency partners in sourcing or creating content that is engaging, relevant, and in line with the brand image. Developing creative ideas which engage followers on multiple social media channels and working with them to create original content (e.g., graphics, videos) for each platform (when support is needed).
- Support our external agency partners in aligning with campaigns to promote product launches or seasonal events on social platforms, playing a pivotal role in developing social media strategies for growth. Ensure the content calendar is planned accordingly / aligns with internal campaigns, and that all content is shared in a timely manner / is in line with calendar plans.
