**True North Sports + Entertainment is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Security Services team.**

Reporting to the Senior Director, Security Services, the **Coordinator, Security Services** plays a vital role in the responsibility and administration of public and venue security and safety services and resourcing for True North Sports + Entertainment.

**What to be excited for in this role**:

- Lead the core and day-to-day administrative functions for the 24/7 security team to include but not limited to scheduling, debriefing, licensing, credentials, inventory, uniforms, and reporting.
- Assist with recruitment and training administration including reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and training sessions.
- Support the launch of new initiatives such as digital incident reporting and other new programs or initiatives, as required.
- Maintain all security equipment and systems, to include inventory, installation, and training.
- Development of post orders, policy/ procedure and standard operating procedures documents for any security service process, as required.
- Uphold venue regulations, policies and procedures, and post-orders to provide a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and guests.
- Work closely with other departments to maintain and ensure all security, safety and emergency systems, and protocols are functioning and remain top-of-mind for the security team.
- Establish a high-quality workplace with commitment to process improvement and a focus on safety.
- Respond to or assist with medical emergencies and provide first aid, CPR or AED support, as necessary.
- Provide oversight of security process at offsite venues and events, as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.

**What we need from you**:

- High School diploma/general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid MB Security Guard License.
- First Aid and CPR Level C considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 years as a licensed Security Guard or equivalent considered an asset.
- Technical skills for CCTV, access control, and security reporting program considered an asset.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Experience in conflict resolution and non-violent crisis intervention (NVCI) considered an asset.
- Be of good physical condition to conduct a variety of physically challenging duties and able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Criminal Background Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
- Must be detailed orientated.
