Overview:
**eCommerce Catalog & SEO Specialist**

Reporting into the Online Marketing Manager you will be responsible for owning the visual product experience online as well as its organic searchability with Google (SEO). Complete 360 degree product visual ownership includes, working with multiple stakeholders, driving the product catalog process, and ensuring the ideal customer visual experience is consistent across all the product categories on leons.ca. The product catalog process includes working with buyers on new listings, enriching content, copy writing short descriptions that are SEO optimized, facilitating studio photography requests, French translations, and publishing the product to the acceptable benchmarks to achieve consistency.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment while collaborating with various departments and stakeholders.
- Produce high-quality, engaging, and SEO-optimized product content for the leons.ca website.
- Stay on top of SEO trends and best practices to ensure content aligns with search engine algorithms and attracts organic traffic.
- Track production progress daily and generate progress reports as needed.
- Own all facets of catalogue management and execution in line with business demands.
- Coordinate translations and approvals across various departments.
- Maintain and update e-commerce content.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent creative writing, editing and communication skills
- Ability to understand/apply/maintain the brand tone of voice
- Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline an asset
- Bilingual (English/French) an asset (but not mandatory)
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (especially Excel)
- Ability to collaborate with a team and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with SEO an asset
- Shopify experience an asset
- eCommerce experience an asset
- Required in-office presence
