**Team Overview**
The Finance Operations and Corporate Services (FOCS) Centre of Expertise (CoE) team is responsible for optimizing operations across Loans Services, Insurance & Receivables Services, Accounts Payable, Corporate Banking, Procurement, Vendor Management, Real Estate and Security processes. The COE supports operational teams in delivering on key outcomes: continuous improvement mindset and best practices, optimized operational efficiency and risk management, customer service level improvements, and data driven decision-making. The COE achieves these objectives by providing best practice thinking and hands-on support to teams with adopting continuous improvement practices, implementing process improvements, automation, BI reporting, and FOCS group planning and performance management.
As the Business Process Analyst, in partnership with technology and business teams, you will play a key role in FOCS group planning and performance management, coaching teams to adopt continuous improvement practices, problem solving, definition and implementation of process improvements, automation and BI reporting.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Leads and/or provides coaching to operational teams on problem solving methodology and process.
- Calculates and presents Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) results to operational teams.
- Reviews trends and develops recommendations for improvement related to KPIs results.
- Supports the FOCS leadership team in the development and implementation of operational improvement strategies generally.
- Triages new continuous improvement initiatives and facilitates their prioritization.
- Continuously researches and incorporates RPA, business process management, and continuous improvement best practices into CoE standard practices.
- Proactively partners with business and technology teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives, provide expertise, technical advice, solutions, and the highest level of customer service.
- Utilizes best practice project and change management practices to ensure initiatives are well managed throughout and monitored after completion to support the change.
As the Senior Business Process Analyst:
- Works with business teams to review their manual processes to determine best fit for automation solutions.
- Estimates efficiencies anticipated through automation solutions.
- Participates in the prioritization of new automation solutions, facilitating effective engagement with business and technology teams to ensure investment decisions and business outcomes are optimized.
- Designs, builds, and tests new automation solutions.
- Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of implemented automation solutions and how efficiencies were materialized/utilized.
**Screening Criteria**
- Undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years’ experience (for level 4) and 5 years’ experience (for level 3) in business administration and/or finance operations or related experience
- Knowledge of Finance and corporate services business processes and related systems, in particular one or more of the following processes: accounts receivable, accounts payable, insurance receivable, loans operations, banking, procurement, vendor management, facilities and security processes.
- Experience facilitating problem-solving workshops.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of process automation approaches and tools (RPA or other).
- Experience with programming, in any programming language.
