Our Ottawa office is currently looking for a Administrative Clerk to join and support our operations team for 6 months. This role will be providing operational support to our administrative staff.

Responsibilities.
- Editing, amending, and proofreading documents in Word and PDF form
- Creating new documents using a variety of sources including handwritten note
- Receiving and reviewing intake documents for all office locations
- Running reports, entering due dates, and updating docketing records and client instructions
- Interacting with agents, lawyers, and other staff
- Other duties may be assigned or amended as required

Qualifications, competencies and experience.
- Legal or General Administrative Assistant Diploma
- 1-2 years’ experience as an administrative assistant. Previous experience with Intellectual Property would be considered an asset
- Strong spoken and written communication skills. This role is English essential, but French language skills would be an asset
- Excellent document editing and formatting skills
- Excellent attention to detail, highly organized and proactive
- A strong ability to prioritize a large workload
- Highly proficient in MS Office and ability to learn new software and technology quickly
