Granted Consulting is a business consultancy operating in Vancouver to help businesses across Canada obtain Government Grants. We leverage available government funding for those who fit the grant criteria, reducing the overhead of the businesses we work with and improving the success of businesses across Western Canada.

Since starting operation in 2011 we have had exponential growth. We are seeking a team player who is just as comfortable leading their team as they are rolling up their sleeves and getting stuff done to meet business objectives.

**Core Job Function**:
**Grant Database Maintenance: 70%**:
Key Performance Indicators:

- 100% update completion rate within the next workday
- 100% accuracy for grants in the database

Responsibilities include:

- Updating fields on each grant when changes are announced
- Testing grant recommendation results are valid and accurate

**Grant Research: 20%**:
Researching changes in grant data to keep our database for the Strategy team and their clients. This is to ensure we have the most up to data for funding opportunities available in the training, hiring and market expansion field. Critical thinking when establishing eligibility to solve potential concerns and scenarios.

Key Performance Indicators:

- Minimum of 2 grant cards amended per week
- Manual checks on existing grants at the appropriate intervals (based on grant rank)
- Minimum 2 calls to grant funders for clarification per week

Responsibilities Include:

- Keeping a close eye on existing grant programs in the database for potential changes

**Communication 10%**:
When changes and new grants have been found, a research team member will communicate changes immediately via communication platforms and in team meetings. The Strategy and Operations team will inevitably encounter irregular cases on eligibility and grant processes. The research team will be responsible for providing clarity for the team as quickly as possible. You will be responsible for seeking clarification as required and keeping a close eye on the questions and answers and makes sure the edge cases are reflected in the grant recommendation system.

Key Performance Indicators:

- Notify the team of all relevant updates within the same business day
- Responding to all team members within 1 business day

Responsibilities Include:

- Proactively communicating and summarizing updates and changes to the team
- Effectively and accurately responding to the needs of the team
- Identify, problem-solve, and work to remove barriers to ensure data accuracy

**Qualifications**:

- In the process of completing a post-secondary degree or diploma in any field
- Relevant experience in a fast-paced environment
- Experience writing research papers in an academic or professional setting
