**Your Opportunity**:
**Your Key Accountabilities**:

- Actively supports community engagement while promoting equitable, diverse, and inclusive innovation, and contributes to Edmonton Unlimited’s ongoing pursuit of Reconciliation.
- First point of contact for online and in-person inquiries about Edmonton Unlimited support offerings and programs available to innovators and entrepreneurs.
- Collaborates closely with the Edmonton Unlimited Programs Team to become an expert in programming content and acts as a pathfinder for innovators and entrepreneurs to enroll into programs that support their founder journey.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Edmonton Unlimited community resource repository, which includes details on community-based resources available to innovators.
- Actively provides support to coordinate, activate, and execute events across the following key event types:

- Edmonton Unlimited owned/partnered events, including (but not limited to): Edmonton Startup Week; Community Coffee; Edmonton Unlimited sponsored events; Edmonton Unlimited program events; Supporting other team coordinators during ad hoc events.
- Identifies and supports opportunities for community-led events by either: Connecting them with the Marketing & Communication team to add events to the community event calendar; Escalating opportunities for collaborative events to the Manager, Community Engagement & Events and working with the community to plan and execute events.
- Accommodates working outside regular hours, and opportunities for travel, where required.
- Operates as an ambassador of Edmonton Unlimited at events and hosts, greets, and conducts presentations that provide guidance of how innovators can access programs and get engaged and connected in Edmonton’s broader innovation communities.
- Identifies and contacts diverse mentors and speakers for events.
- Liaises with external stakeholders, including venues, event management companies, promotional products suppliers, etc. to plan, execute and activate Edmonton Unlimited sponsored or owned events as assigned.
- Identifies and shares opportunities for Edmonton Unlimited to sponsor third-party events.
- Liaises with Edmonton Unlimited staff to remain informed about program offerings and aware of emerging opportunities for innovators and entrepreneurs.
- Networks with local innovators to invite and promote Edmonton Unlimited’s mandate, values, programs, and other supports at events.
- Creates specific plans and next steps for individuals and companies and follows-up with next steps and opportunities.

**Your Credentials**:

- 2+ years of related work networking and community-building experience.
- Post-secondary degree in communications or related field an asset.
- Excels in a start-up environment with flat organizational structure and strong team collaboration.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high-level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Passion for innovation and entrepreneurship will be an asset.
- Innovator by nature.
