**Responsibilities**:
- **Marketing & Sponsorship Acumen**:They understand the language of measurement and evaluation on the programs that they work on. They demonstrate an interest in marketing and full-stack sponsorship and understand how their programs fit into the marketing mix for their clients.
- **Client Management**:They interact with clients and partners. They are directly developing a trusting relationship with their clients/partners. They understand the importance of treating vendors/partners with respect. They are beginning to have insight into the client’s needs and challenges. They understand the importance of relationships in the work that we do and in their business life in general.
- **Project Management**:With oversight, they develop workback schedules and manage against them for small projects. They are learning how to work within agency processes and understand how to use agency templates and tools.
- **Financial Management**:They are comfortable developing drafts of small and medium size budgets. They understand the importance of managing within budget. They assist with vendor/partner quotes and following up with issuing purchase orders.
- **Production**:They assist with making sure that the right permits are in place and the activation site is ready to go. They are learning how to confidently understand and respond to vendor quotes, when to push for a better price and the questions to ask.
- **People and Relationship Management**: They are learning that different people respond differently to different management styles. Working with Senior Brand Ambassadors, Brand Ambassadors, and potentially interns, they can leverage this understanding to motivate and inspire their teammates. They are learning how to provide effective feedback in a way that motivates.
- **Critical Thinking**:Opportunities for critical thinking at the Account Executive level come with the new challenges described in Project Management, Financial Management and Relationship Management.
They are acquiring new skills every day - from how to manage clients, projects, budgets, Brand Ambassadors to ultimately meeting our clients marketing objectives.
**Requirements**:
- 2-5 years of related experience with experiential marketing campaigns.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Experience directly managing Brand Ambassadors.
- Ability to manage a budget.
- This role will require out-of-province travel on occasion with on-site management of experiential events being mandatory.
