**Nature of the Position**

The **ReBuild Logistics Coordinator** is responsible for coordinating drop off and pickup on donated materials from the retail outlet within the qathet region. The Coordinator works alongside management staff and the donations coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of a donation centre and retail outlet. The Logistics Coordinator will be part of a team of dedicated employees committed to the vision of an equitable economy for all. The Donations Coordinator reports to the inclusion Powell River Social Economy management team.

**Required Abilities**
- WCB Approved Workplace First Aid Level 1, or willingness to acquire
- Ability to drive and operate a 20’ cube van with a automatic tailgate lift, or willingness to learn - Class 5 Driver's license required
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs
- Manual dexterity and ability to do hard physical work
- Proven ability to take directions
- Ability to work on a team or willingness to learn
- Ability to do research on the internet to determine pricing
- Experience with a moving company an asset
- Experience in a start-up and/or social enterprise environment an asset
- Experience/knowledge with/in retail construction materials an asset
- Knowledge of theory, principles and practices of the community living sector an asset but not a requirement
- Willingness to undergo a Criminal Record Check

**Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- **Commits to modeling an equitable, inclusive work environment which celebrates diverse abilities, opportunities to enhance skills, in non-exploitive, and promotes value for contribution**
- Coordinates pickup and drop off of donations as they are received by the public
- Cleans, processes and prices donation materials as they are received
- Collaboratively Shares use of the company work truck with OneLight
- Assists employees working at the Rebuild with equipment for lifting, cleaning and repairing
- Attends Training as required
- Other duties as determined by the team

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 per hour
