This position is seasonal from April to August. This is an hourly position (up to full time hours) working Monday to Friday including holidays with occasional evenings and weekends.

**The Role**

We are seeking Program Instructors for the summer 2024 season. The Program Instructor will deliver high quality, interactive, and informative experiences to a diverse audience on a daily basis. They will play a key role in the delivery of pre-school programs, school programs, tours, revenue and non-revenue generating opportunities at the Zoo, Park, and Leaf.

The Program Instructor will assist with the development of new programs, activations, & engagements as situations arise.

**Required Education, Experience & Other Qualification**:

- Post-secondary education in recreation, education, (environmental) sciences, early childhood education or other related field or be working towards the degree.
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Minimum of two years experience as an instructor, tour guide, early childhood educator, or program facilitator.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Experience working with a wide variety of ages is considered an asset.
- The ability to speak French is considered an asset.
