Casual summer program lead instructors are required to assist with all ASPIRE program activities. The ASPIRE
program strives to promote literacy and numeracy skills, along with recreational activities for students. Duties include
collaboration with Program Coordinator on site supervision and daily program oversight, communication with parents,
supporting classroom activities, assisting with bussing and walking school bus, helping with field trips outside the
school setting, and aiding in breakfast and lunch implementation. A valid Manitoba Driver’s License and access to a
vehicle is preferred.
**REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: -**
University Student enrolled in Bachelor of Education
- Experience in educational or recreational programs and/or experience mentoring/managing staff
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a planning team
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret situations accurately and act accordingly
- A positive attitude, outlook, and work ethic
- Ability to develop good relationships with students on a one-to-one basis and in groups
- Good organizational skills and ability to follow directions
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both official languages (English and French) required for

bilingual positions.
