Get ready for a very fun, bouncy summer

Kangoo kids is a company established on 2012, we perform our activities at summer camps as a third-party activity.

We use this fun cool looking bounce boots that help you jump

Our programs run for 8 weeks at different camp location across the GTA.

As a Kangoo kids instructor you will rotate between the different age groups and accommodate activities accordingly.

Each period running as follows:

- routine:
1. 3 minutes for instructions and washroom

2. 5 minutes for shoe sizing and warm-up

3. 35 minutes activities

4. 2 minutes for changing and getting to the next activity.

5. Shoe disinfecting (inner boot exchange)

You will get a total of maximum 6-7 groups a day, with a lunch break in the middle.

**Responsibilities**:

- Indirect supervision of campers aged 4-12 (you will have help from other staff, your job will be to run the program)
- Creates a supportive, inclusive, creative, and respectful environment for campers while ensuring all camp rules are followed
- Organizes and implements specific age-related daily activities
- Maintains a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Open communication regarding any incidents, issues, and concerns with Camp Director
- Maintain ongoing communication with the camp director
- Assists in maintaining accurate program activities
- **Must be available to work full-time until August 25th, 2023**

**Education & Experience**:

- Currently enrolled in post-secondary education related to children (Child & Youth Studies, ECE, Bachelor of Education) OR
- Students going into Grade 12 or post-secondary studies in September with previous experience working with children
- Camp and/or sport instruction experience preferred
- Passion for working with children
- Ability to work outdoors and in seasonal conditions such as very hot temperatures, dry environments, humid climates, damp and/or wet climates
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Complete Police Vulnerable Sector Check prior to employment start date
- Kangoo Kids training (provided)

**Hours of work**:Monday-Friday 40-42.5 hours/week - Day Shift

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months

**Salary**: $100 per day
