**Job Details**

**Position Title**:Hospitality Receiving Technician, RPT

**Status**:Part-time permanent

**Hours**: up to 24 hours per week

**Faculty/Department**:Faculty of Business

**Campus/Location**: North Campus

**What you will do**:
The Hospitality Receiving Technician supports the service operations of the Receiving Department and Culinary/Baking Labs at Humber College. Some key responsibilities would include:

- Breakdown returned food wagons, check quality of products and discard any compromised food products
- Conduct end-of-day reset for culinary/baking labs. Maintain par stocks of cleaning supplies, paper goods and food products on a daily basis.
- Restocking equipment to ensure accurate par levels. Small wares inventory/control/organization.
- Conduct equipment functionality quality check and follow-up with lab maintenance Coordinator for any deficiencies. Submit a work order, if required.
- Deliver and pick up special equipment to and from lab/service area
- Repair reporting and follow-up with lab Maintenance Coordinator
- Assist with wagon building
- Perform data entry into FoodTrak Software. Input invoices, and prepare costing reports.
- Ensuring the receiving area is clean
- Assist with receiving goods

**What you bring to the role**:

- Minimum one-year certificate in a Culinary Program or equivalent
- One-year practical work experience related to the environment, which demonstrates knowledge of Health and Safety and Food safety regulations. Basic office computing skills.
