**What you'll be doing**:
- Pull and stage parts for shop jobs before coming into the shop.
- Ensure parts requests for jobs in shop are prioritized.
- Identify and communicate any work order warranty requirements to technicians and shop supervisor.
- Consult with management before rush ordering any regular inventory parts.
- Assign parts and supplies on work orders in real-time using standard work to maintain accurate inventory.
- Confirm availability and pick parts for OTC part sales.
- Ensure any un-used parts are returned to inventory and removed from work orders if necessary.
- Maintain organization and upkeep of warehouse.
- Label and store parts in accurate locations.
- Receive in-bound parts, supplies and materials — physically and in system.
- Pull, stage and label parts for outbound shipping.
- Label, assign and maintain storage and bin locations for all inventory.
- Assist in development and improvement of warehouse and storage plans.
- Perform regular cycle counts for all inventory and monitor for shrinkage avoidance.
- Occasional need to pick up and deliver parts as required in a safe and timely manner.
- Ensure all loads are safe and properly secured at all times.
- Other work as may be defined
**Requirements**:
- Grade 12 or equivalent with trade training.
- Valid G Class License with clean driver’s abstract.
- Industry related experience an asset.
- Truck and trailer parts knowledge and experience.
- Comfortable with prioritizing and handling large volumes of paperwork.
- Ability to work in a high pace environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Cetaris etc.).
