Responsibilities- Performs vehicle inspections, troubleshooting, and testing to determine required or recommended repairs
- Accurately diagnoses malfunctions and performs necessary repairs, including engine failures, mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions, and replacing parts and components as required
- Examines assigned vehicles to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended
- Verifies vehicle serviceability and ensures quality repairs by conducting test drives and adjusting controls and systems as required
- Maintains clean and organized work areas, adhering to company standards and policies
- Communicates effectively with service advisors, dispatchers, and customers to ensure timely and satisfactory resolutions
- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- Provincial License such as Red Seal/310T, current and in good standing with membership/registration with respective Government Agencies
- Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials), OEM training courses preferred
