We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Door-to-Door Canvassers.

As a canvasser, your primary responsibility will be to engage with homeowners in designated neighbourhoods and gather their contact information if they express interest in receiving free estimates for painting projects.

This role offers flexible part-time hours, typically consisting of 4-hour shifts on weekday nights, with occasional weekend shifts. You will receive an hourly wage, and additional incentives will be provided for successfully securing estimates or interested homeowners.

**Responsibilities**:
Door-to-Door Canvassing: Visit residential areas within assigned neighbourhoods to initiate conversations with homeowners about our painting services.

Inform and Educate: Clearly and professionally communicate the benefits of our painting services, emphasizing the free estimate offer.

Identify Interest: Engage homeowners in conversations to determine their interest in painting projects and their willingness to receive a free estimate.

Gather Contact Information: Obtain homeowners' phone numbers and other relevant contact details for follow-up purposes.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions, contact information, and homeowner preferences.

Promote Company Brand: Represent the company in a positive and professional manner, adhering to established guidelines and best practices.

Achieve Targets: Strive to meet or exceed assigned targets for securing estimates and interested homeowners.

Provide Feedback: Share valuable insights, customer feedback, and market trends with the team to improve strategies and enhance customer experience.

**Requirements**:
Previous Sales or Canvassing Experience: Prior experience in door-to-door sales, canvassing, or a similar role is preferred.

Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to engage homeowners and build rapport effectively.

Self-Motivated: Demonstrated ability to work independently, stay motivated, and meet or exceed targets.

Persuasive Skills: Ability to articulate the value proposition of our painting services and convince homeowners to express interest in receiving free estimates.

Reliable and Punctual: Consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts and adhere to assigned work hours.

Resilience: Ability to handle rejection or objections gracefully and maintain a positive attitude.

Detail-Oriented: Accuracy in recording and documenting homeowner information and preferences.

Professionalism: Present oneself in a professional manner and adhere to the company's code of conduct and dress code guidelines.

Compensation:

- Hourly Pay: Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience and performance.
- Incentives: Additional incentives will be provided for successfully securing estimates and interested homeowners.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
