**Job Description Summary**:
STEMCELL, Canada’s largest biotech company, is continuing our steady growth, and are looking to add an Operations Specialist to our team. This is an exciting opportunity focused on converting strategic plans into action. In this role, you’ll act as the glue, facilitator, liaison and sometimes the enforcer in support of the initiatives and projects affecting our Supply Chain, Technical Operations, and Operations Management teams.

In this newly-created role, you will be responsible for coordinating and supporting a number of activities, as well as taking the lead on independent initiatives designed to support our departmental and organizational goals. Your success will leverage your critical thinking, administrative and organizational skills, and deep-seated desire to get things done properly, on time, and as expected (or better)

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop and execute annual program goals, manage the operating schedule, and support the successful delivery of the associated projects and initiatives
- Develop new programs and frameworks to carry out the strategic direction of the organization
- Independently lead and deliver on initiatives in support of the program goals and objectives
- Make decisions based on departmental, corporate, and customer requirements, ensuring that recommended approaches are supported by data and comprehensive analysis
- Communicate, liaise, and build relationships with staff, management, consultants, vendors and others as needed, including management of communication assets

**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- A bachelor's degree with 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in operations management and support, facilitating, and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups
- Experience communicating and influencing within a complex interdisciplinary environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer literacy skills
- Change Management experience is a plus
