Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, the **Vice President of Employee Experience** leads a portfolio that includes Well-Being, Health and Safety, People Strategies, People Services, Leadership & Talent, People Informatics, and Organization Development, Planning and Transformation. Being one of the largest employers in B.C. makes this one of the largest HR leadership roles in Canada. With approximately $8 billion in capital and redevelopment projects underway, the new Vice President must drive results. They bring vision, authenticity and courage; are politically astute; and work through the pressures that come with this role - especially in a sector bursting with social impact, and public scrutiny.
As a key member of the Executive Team at Fraser Health, the Vice President of Employee Experience will contribute to leading the largest regional health authority in the province of British Columbia. The Vice President is accountable for the strategic and tactical programs for Employee Experience. As a member of the Executive Committee, the Vice President provides senior leadership and participates in the development of strategic planning, goals, and objectives to ensure the optimum utilization of available resources.

The Vice President, Employee Experience reports to the President & Chief Executive Officer, and is accountable for the strategic and tactical programs for Employee Experience.
As a member of the Executive Committee, the Vice President provides senior leadership and participates in the development of strategic planning, goals and objectives to ensure the optimum utilization of available resources.
**Responsibilities**:
KEY AREAS OF INVOLVEMENT INCLUDE:
Senior Executive Leadership
- Participates as a member of the Executive Committee to develop Fraser Health strategic and operational plans. Provides senior leadership to the Employee Experience portfolio.
- Reports on the performance of portfolios identifying short term tactical actions and long term strategic objectives.
- Ensures strategies position Fraser Health for current and evolving issues.
- Oversees the development of, and approves all operating budgets for the portfolio. Approves budget recommendations and allocates resources as required to meet strategic and operation requirements within the financial mandate of Fraser Health.
- Oversees consultations and communications includes stakeholders for the effective planning and delivery of Employee Experience plans and programs.
- Represents Fraser Health and builds and foster relationships with Ministry of Health, Health Employers' Association of B.C., community agencies, organizations and consumers in Fraser Health.
Portfolio leadership
- Ensures that strategic and operational plans support the acquisition, retention and development of our people (volunteers, employees and physicians) through recruitment and development strategies to enhance retention and engagement and support the delivery of clinical and support services.
- Oversees strategies and plans that support and enable our people to be the best they can be, and to ensure the supports for organizational changes are in place.
- Participates in the development of Fraser Health policies and practices that ensure compliance with all regulated, negotiated or legislative requirements; and to ensure our practices support the strategic imperativea including that off Great Workplaces.
